At KB Academy, leadership is not just a position-it's a responsibility, a role model, and a voice for others. Our School Captains, along with House Captains and Vice-Captains, Class Captains and Event Captains are selected from among our most dedicated, disciplined, and responsible students to represent the spirit and values of our school.

They serve as a bridge between students and staff, led by example, and motivate their peers to uphold the highest standards of behavior, teamwork, and excellence.

Types of Captains:

School Captain (Boy & Girl)

The overall leaders of the student body, representing the school at all major events and serving as role models in academics, discipline, and conduct.

House Captains (Boy & Girl per House)

Leaders of their respective houses, responsible for organizing and encouraging participation in interhouse events and fostering house spirit.

Vice-Captains

Assist the captains and step in when needed. They support daily responsibilities and help maintain order and unity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent the school in assemblies, events, and external functions
• Assist in organizing school activities, competitions, and cultural programs
• Encourage fellow students to participate actively in academics, sports, and co-curriculars
• Maintain discipline and promote positive behavior among peers
• Work with teachers and school management to ensure smooth functioning of school affairs
• Motivate their houses during interhouse competitions and maintain team spirit
• Lead by example in punctuality, uniform, respect, and responsibility

Leaders in the Making - One Class at a Time

At KB Academy, we believe leadership begins early-and often, right inside the classroom. Our Class Captains play an essential role in maintaining order, encouraging participation, and supporting the smooth functioning of daily school life.

Each class has one or two students appointed as Class Captains, selected based on their discipline, responsibility, helpfulness, and positive attitude. They act as representatives of their classmates and are trusted partners of their teachers.

Roles and Responsibilities of Class Captains:

• Maintain classroom discipline in the absence of the teacher
• Help organize class activities, assignments, and group work
• Communicate messages from teachers to students clearly and responsibly
• Encourage classmates to follow school rules and uphold good behavior
• Take attendance and assist with classroom routines
• Support classmates who need help, promoting a teamwork-friendly environment
• Represent the class during inter-class activities, competitions, and school functions
